is THE BEST platform tutorial I have ever found. It covers everything you need in a platform game, well exept for enemies coints and V-cam. But that you can find elsewere.(I hope elsewere is a word :D) anyway:

Thanks! Traditional platform games are kind of boring for me, and I want to make something that really ROARS! So if I ever make a real game out of this it'll probably be an action RPG. Actually, the Umbrella Shop in Arr Pea Gee uses the same engine as this tutorial.

Really fun, so I guess you deserve a 10.

I liked it

But it gets old fast. I mean REALY fast.
Try adding more things, not only hands shapes and em.. that,
but try adding fruit, animals I don`t know ANYTHING.
That way it would be far more fun. 5/10 (still lot of things to do)

ha ha ha you beach... in the last level (after about 9 tryes...) I pressed space on the right moment but it showed the TOO SOON thing. I heard draw at the same moment. The hole word... I still hade fun! Great game. Maybe the grafix weren`t so good but that wasn`t soo bad.

Lemme try to explain that. The "draw" sound file has a bit of silence at the start before the voice actually says draw. Therefore I have to start it early so that the voice starts at the same time as the word appears on screen. This means I have to stop the sound everytime you shoot too early. Basicly its flash's fault for taking too long to cancel the damn sound.

you could lower the jump power of the ball... but it`s kinda great anyway!

Pretty good

I liked level 2...
But you could animate the bullets so that they woulden be inposible sometimes...
Like the concept, but you could add the running animation when the main character goes left and right... also when he jumps. You could add some sounds too.

Try adding hitTest to the acid and the end of the screen...
+Try animating the cats and find some sounds of a cat dying...
